Cinema in Flux was created as fundraiser for the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, a non-profit arts and educational organization.
The book showcases 130 of the greatest films of all time with insightful and analytical texts by the festival’s executive director Roger Durling.

Cinema has always inspired and transported, and the objective of the book design was to do the same.
Key scenes were selected and featured with engaging film stills.
Dark background colors and provocative quotes from the scripts added to the book’s impact.

This book was commissioned to celebrate 10 years of The Pershing Square Foundation, 
the non-profit arm of Bill Ackman’s Pershing Square. PSF supports innovative organizations across
categories from social justice, medical research, education and social enterprise, and each page
of the book was designed to showcase their scalable and sustainable impact and the innovators who drive
the global change PSF supports through the use of full bleed images,
quotes, and custom designed infographics.
